She's finally here! Emily was born at 11:24pm on Saturday, September 29. She weighs 7 lbs, 12 oz and is 20 inches long. She is such a cutie and looks just like her daddy! Jenn and baby are doing great!

Request for Labor Dust

Please send lots of labor thoughts to Jenn. She's 40 weeks and 3 days today and VERY VERY pregnant. She would really like to meet little Emily and so would the rest of us! Let's all send good wishes and hope that she doesn't make it to her scheduled induction date next Thursday. Bring it on!

My New Friend

On Monday, Marlee and I had a girls' day out. We've been out together several times, of course, but Monday was different. We went to Phipp's Plaza to run an errand and ended up spending the whole day hanging out together. She is suddenly more alert and interactive, and I enjoyed watching her take in all the sights around the mall. I took her to Tiffany's and showed her the sparkling diamonds. We went to a children's boutique and picked out a special gift for Pru. Then we went to a bookstore, and I bought a book to read her when we got home. By that time, I was starving and browsed the directory for places to eat. I saw the Nordstrom Bistro and knew that was our spot. I remember eating at Nordstrom on special shopping trips into San Francisco with my Granny and Mom. I sat Marlee in her seat across from me, and she cooed and talked while I ate my yummy lunch. I realized then that I don't just have a new baby, I have a DAUGHTER and a friend for life.

One Month Old!

Our baby girl is one month old today! Isn't she a cutie?!

Pruett George Ma

It's a girl!!! Pruett was born Sunday, September 23 at 10:03pm. She weighs 6 1/2 lbs and is 19 inches long. Kacey had a wonderful labor and a successful natural birth. Way to go, Momma! The family is doing great.

It's the reason I sleep at night (even though I'm not sleeping now). I'm sending a big e-hug to whomever invented this snuggly baby straight jacket.

I also happen to think it turns MJ into a super-cute glo-worm.

4 Weeks Ago...

...we welcomed our sweet baby girl into the world. Her birth was the most amazing experience of my life. I'm so excited that three of my closest friends will become mommies in the next month. Jenn, Kacey, and Heather- I can't wait to hear your stories and meet your babies! This is such an exciting time...I love that we're venturing into motherhood together and that our kids will be pals!

Michael and I took Marlee for her one month check-up today. Her pediatrician is Dr. Jina, and we like her very much (probably because she always has wonderful things to say about Marlee :)). MJ now weighs 9lbs, 5oz and has grown an inch since her birthday. Way to grow!

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new blog! Marlee's baby website was so great for sharing our pregnancy with our families and friends across the country, that we decided a blog would be a good way to share all aspects of our life. In these crazy times, we sometimes find it difficult to keep in touch as much as we'd like. We're separated from our loved ones by busy lives, miles, and time zones, but this blog is open 24/7. Drop by any time!

First order of business: Create a blog name. I felt so much pressure to be clever that I decided not to name our site at all. Instead, I'm accepting suggestions! Just comment on this post with your suggestion. Once I have a few, I'll post a poll and you can vote for your favorite.
